...that line hit me like a falling frickin train, and I don't usually even *listen* to lyrics of songs.

That is one of the most haunting songs I can think of, and now I'm going to be forced to watch Capote. Crap.

First of all, HA! I love the idea of a runaway space train falling from the atmosphere. I think that might have been a subplot on "Lost," actually.

But seriously, I've read "In Cold Blood," and as incredible as the book is, Phillip Seymour Hoffman brought new meaning to it, for me. The book definitely humanizes killer Perry Smith, but the movie shows the other side of that, how Truman Capote's quest to tell this story wasn't wholly innocent. I saw myself in both the characters, and like that song, it was terrifying.
